I'd rather be snowboarding than anything else in the world... except teaching, that is.
My favorite color is purple; it's far too often absent in nature.
Despite my snowy thrills, I am a true Floridian. I was born and raised in Tallahassee. I have two brothers with whom I'm incredibly close, even though they used to harass me during our teen years. The three of us grew up playing soccer, baseball/softball, and traveling every summer.
I moved to Shell Point Beach four years ago. My husband and I enjoy our skiff almost every weekend, hunting the creeks and flats for red fish, tarpon, and trout. I also venture off to S.G.I., where I enjoy raw oysters, beach soccer, and Prokedema.
Some of my favorite hobbies include running, reading, gardening, cooking, painting, and my favorite, traveling. I'm an avid exerciser and believe in a healthy lifestyle, although it is nice to indulge in moderation.
I have the greatest profession in the world and I could not imagine myself doing anything else. I've been teaching for over nine years; I have taught the second, fourth, and fifth grades. I'm incredibly passionate about educating young minds in a collaborative, active, and mostly, fun environment!
